Covering proteomics from the top down

After three years due to COVID, the Consortium for Top-Down Proteomics is thrilled to announce the return of our in-person International Top-Down Proteomics Symposium. The 2023 Symposium will take place October 3-5, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois, hosted by Northwestern University. The hotel and venue are located in Chicago’s incomparable Streeterville neighborhood, adjacent to Lake Michigan and the city’s Magnificent Mile.

In the three years’ since our last Symposium, the field of top-down proteomics has exploded with groundbreaking research and technologies that are transforming biomedical discovery. From the latest breakthroughs in top-down proteomics to progress towards the Human Proteoform Project, the Symposium will include keynote and invited speakers, panel discussions and poster sessions.

The three-day program will also provide ample opportunities for networking and discussion, including poster sessions, cocktail hours, and dinner at Woodwind, a contemporary American restaurant offering sophisticated dishes, drinks and views 18 floors above Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood.
